You are the star in the World Final for Inline Skaters

 

The season finale for inline skaters traditionally takes place as part of the real,- BERLIN MARATHON. The fastest marathon in the world, with 250,000 spectators lining the course that takes you through the Brandenburg Gate, is also the most important and largest inline marathon, and it provides a fabulous experience for all kinds of skaters, whether professionals, amateurs, or kids (SCC-Skating KidsCup). 


This is the place to be for the skating scene: round off your weekend at the INLINE VILLAGE at the BERLIN VITAL Expo and the grand Marathon Party Skating.

36th real,- BERLIN MARATHON Inline Skating: Skater festival of the year at a late-summer marathon

FotoOnce again this year, the real,- BERLIN MARATHON made for an excellent skater festival. Who was paying any attention to the World Championships in China? The pros from the World Inline Cup did not look as if they were feeling like they were in the wrong place, at least. Everyone who participated completely enjoyed the enthusiasm and attention from the spectators. With Cecilia Baena and Luca Saggiorato, we had the first three-time champions, and Etienne Ramali (5th place) was the top German skater in Berlin. More...

Nicolas Iten and Hilde Goovaerts win the 34th real,- BERLIN MARATHON for Inline Skaters

FotoThe wet and rainy course could not hinder them: Nicolas Iten from Switzerland and Hilde Goovaerts from Belgium captured victory at the world’s largest inline marathon in Berlin. Despite the pouring rain, about 150,000 spectators lined the course and cheered on the just-for-fun and pro skaters. Berlin's inline skate champion Briggyte Mendez: The powerbox

Briggyte Mendez, the triumphant champion of the real,- BERLIN MARATHON, astounded the skating world. What must a successful speed skater look like? This question seemed to have been answered last year. Roger Schneider, the two-metre-man, was literally a big winner in 2004. With his extremely long legs he has a leverage effect that practically gives him a sixth gear to ride in. But now a 20-year-old young woman from Columbia, who is just barely 1.44 metres, goes and wins. More...
