In addition to the events that SCC EVENTS organises for its shareholder SCC BERLIN e.V , we are also active for other organisations. We provide a selection of the activities we have carried out within the framework of the organisation of sports events in recent years.
100 years of bauhaus marathon in Weimar 2019 with SCC EVENTS
For the European City of Culture Weimar and organised SCC EVENTS with the 100 years of bauhaus marathon in 2019 a completely new running experience with a high proportion of cultural enjoyment.
The 100 years of bauhaus marathon with the classic distance of 42.195 km is aimed at all modern-day athletes who are looking for something special: the athletic challenge and the cultural enjoyment along the way as they pass the rich traces of BAUHAUS through the city of Weimar and the Weimarer Land.
Unlike other marathons that lead through culturally rich cities, the athletes have the opportunity to take in the so-called "cultural breaks," the highlights from 100 years of Bauhaus, without wasting time on the course.
Partial organisation of the Velothon Berlin 2008 to 2018
In the years 2008 to 2018, the organisers of the Velothon Berlin relied on the expertise of SCC EVENTS in various areas. In addition to the course management inclusive volunteer coordination we took care of the planning and construction of the start-finish area and ensured medical care. Furthermore, the application to the institutions of the city of Berlin and the state of Brandenburg was carried out by SCC EVENTS.

European Athletics Championships Berlin 2018 / European Mile
At the 2018 European Athletics Championships in Berlin, the long-distance marathon and race walking events were once again held with the start and finish outside the Olympic Stadium. Once again, those responsible at the German Athletics Association and European Athletics relied on the expertise of SCC EVENTS in the field of organising sports events. SCC EVENTS was responsible for the planning and organisation of the street competitions 50 and 20 kilometre race walk - 20km race walk, as well as the marathon in the City West. In addition, the expert team of SCC EVENTS was responsible for the leading planning and the implementation of the medical department and services.
International Triathlon Events in Berlin 2012/2013
In 2012, SCC EVENTS organised the 5150 Triathlon Berlin for the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC). The race, which represents the Olympic distance in triathlon, was planned and organised in its entirety by SCC EVENTS. The following year, SCC EVENTS was entrusted with the organisation of the Ironman 70.3 Berlin. Both events were part of an international competition series.
12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics Berlin 2009
The World Athletics Championships were not only remembered for Usain Bolt's world records over 100 and 200 metres on the blue track in Berlin's Olympic Stadium. The competitions in the marathon and in the 20 and 50 kilometre race walking disciplines took place with start and finish right at the Brandenburg Gate - in other words, right in the middle of the capital. SCC EVENTS was entrusted with the planning and organisation of the race walking and marathon competitions. For all competitions of the World Championships in Athletics, SCC EVENTS was responsible for the planning and organisation of the medical department and services including doping controls and physiotherapy for the athletes on behalf of the German Athletics Federation and in cooperation with the responsible persons of the IAAF (now World Athletics).
