SCC EVENTS moves Berlin, the world and SPOBIS 2026

Second day of SPOBIS 2026 in Hamburg, 7:15 a.m. at the Germania Rowing Club. Temperatures slightly below freezing, snow-covered paths – and yet ideal conditions for exchange, exercise, and new connections: at the SPOBIS Run & Talk by SCC EVENTS, networking took a slightly different form.

As part of the partnership between SCC EVENTS and SPOBIS, SCC EVENTS invited participants to join them for a run along the popular seven-kilometer Alster loop. Instead of meeting rooms and coffee tables, the 15 or so participants were treated to an impressive backdrop of winter morning atmosphere, views of the frozen Alster, and the city gradually waking up. Two pace groups ensured the right rhythm between running and talking.

What made Run & Talk special was not only the route, but also the concept behind it: striking up conversations while running, exchanging ideas without a formal setting, and gaining new perspectives along the way. The exercise created an open atmosphere in which conversations arose spontaneously and dynamics developed that are often lacking in traditional networking.

Despite the cold, the energy was palpable — fueled by shared kilometers, good conversations, and the feeling of experiencing something that brings people together. The SPOBIS Run & Talk by SCC EVENTS impressively demonstrated how sport brings people together, breaks down barriers, and creates space for genuine encounters.

It is a format that can create not only moments but also lasting connections, and is a powerful example of how partnerships can be filled with active life.
