SCC EVENTS supports with care packages and running shoe donations

SCC EVENTS donates clothing and shoes to the Berliner Stadtmission

In addition, SCC EVENTS contributed 53 pairs of running shoes through a collection drive held at its office in the Olympic Park. The collection has been ongoing for a year, and a total of 99 pairs of shoes have been donated so far. SCC EVENTS organizes endurance sports events such as the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON and the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON. At these events, good pieces of clothing are often left behind and never collected. Some of these lost-and-found items were also donated to the Berliner Stadtmission.

A Berlin symbol of community and commitment

At some SCC EVENTS races, areas and locations are used where homeless people often stay. For this reason, it was especially important to the employees to take action and support both the Berliner Stadtmission and the people it serves. The handover of the donations took place on November 7 in front of the clothing distribution center of the Berliner Stadtmission near Berlin Central Station. It was a moment of genuine togetherness and connection – clear proof that community spirit and civic engagement are alive and well in Berlin.
